The dents, bumps, holes and scrathces in body of the guitar have been dealt with in the previous section. Now the fillers need to be sanded down and the suface needs to be prepared to accept the spray paint.

The scratch plate and pickguard, as well as loading the electronics was done before the body so that we can measure exactly how big the body cavity needs to be to accommodate the humbucker pickups and wiring.

A quick video to show how to fix dents and scratches and fill in holes on a guitar body

A look at the guitar electronics and pickup wiring, the scratchplate/pickguard and the installed killswitch.

The Pyle Pro PDC22 is an unpowered Dual Direct DI box. It converts unbalanced signals to balanced signals andbalanced to unbalanced. It also features a parallel out in order to loop a signal back. The DI also has a -0dB, -20dB and -40dB which allows you to connect higher powered connection to it to send via balanced out like amp speaker outs etc. It also features a ground lift. It is of full metal construction and in my tests noiseless. It does exactly what it is requested to do.

What we tried to achieve here was a very clean matt headstock. Black decal on white. We wanted the logo to be applied in a way that you can't see how it was applied.

This seems more than a worthy KickStarter to support. The O'Keefe Music Foundation that brought us 46 and 2 cover by Tool want to keep going.

In this video we use the fret rocker to check for frets that might be hight or low and adjust them with a file. we also ase a fret board protector to prevent any damage to the fret board near the frets we are working on.
