Recording a natural DI guitar track

Written by

How do you record a clean and clear guitar signal through a DI Box and still get an organic performance.

What we are trying to achieve is a good guitar DI signal to use with an amp sim or to re-amp later.

This is achieved by using a DI box. Split the signal at the LINK so that the balanced signal goes to the daw via your interface and the link goes to your amp. This way you play through your amp as you are used to with all the benefits of feedback etc but still get a great clean DI track.
