Sine Effect Electronics MegaPara Demo and Review

Written by

Please check our full demo and review of the Sine Effect Electronics MegaPara multiband parametric equaliser pedal. More knobs than in parliament and more tone shaping than a ring in a champagne glass.

The Disphoria is a distortion pedal made by Sine Effect Electronics. It is a very open and transparent distortion pedal with a huge amount of gain.

Please have a look at the video to hear the guitar in action. The clean pieces are played on the neck pickup and so are the rythm crunch tones. The lead is played on the bridge on a high gain setting with some reverb.

The final product ready for inspection. This guitar is looking great.

A quick video to show the cleaning of the hardware. Please check the cleaning fluids here on small pieces of your hardware before you follow these instructions.

See the full 3 part video tutorial on how to setup your guitar from scratch. Please have a look at our tutorial which takes you through the complete guitar setup process. It explains in details how to level your frets, set the truss rod, restring your guitar and set the intonation.

The dents, bumps, holes and scrathces in body of the guitar have been dealt with in the previous section. Now the fillers need to be sanded down and the suface needs to be prepared to accept the spray paint.

The scratch plate and pickguard, as well as loading the electronics was done before the body so that we can measure exactly how big the body cavity needs to be to accommodate the humbucker pickups and wiring.
