The OWL OpenSource Effects Project

The OWL (Open Ware Laboratory) is an open source, programmable effects pedal made for guitarists, musicians, hackers and programmers alike. Users can program their own effects in C++, or download ready-made patches from our growing online patch library.

I love opensource prjects. Now they are rearing their head in fileds not expected. Like this one; a programmable digital effects pedal with workbench.

A Splawn is spawned!

From the look of things a very interesting find. Splawn amplification and custom guitars.

Definately on my wishlist. Listen to the demo in the youtube video below. The Catalinbread Dirty Secret. The tone circuit is exactly, part-for-part, the same tone circuit as found in Super Lead and Super Bass Marshalls, and they will behave and interact the same way as on their amp counterparts. Get your Marshall sound for $169,99 :-)

A great article about the JHS 73 Ram's Head Replica Fuzz article. A pedal to replace the big muff by Electro-Harmonix.
