"Rootbeer Audio is a tube amp repair/building workshop that's been operating in some form since 2008. I (Matt Manhire) started Rootbeer Audio in a parking lot in Northern New Jersey, moved it to a bedroom in Francisville (Philadelphia), relocated it to a basement in Fishtown (Philadelphia), before finally settling into (for the moment) a better-suited basement in Fishtown. Prior to Rootbeer Audio, I worked at a boutique amplifier company in New Jersey, and worked for Jess Oliver (Ampeg B-15 inventor). - Matt"

There is no right or wrong order to pedals although many would like to make you believe that. Truth is that it is all about what 'sound' you are after. The suggestions here are to the generally agreed pedal orders on a pedal board for the most typically desired tone and sound results.
In live environments, especially clubs, pubs and other small venues the 'scooped mids' metal tone can be a problem. Scooping the mids may leave your tone thin and disappearing in the mix.
