Interview with B&G handmade Guitars

Please read the interview with master luthiers Eliran Barashi and Kiki Goldstein. These guys are serious about handmaking everything, even casting their own brass hardware from a unique alloy that conducts the widest frequency range. The pickups are also made in-house and only use rare stocks of aged wood.

Check out our interview with Xylem custom guitars and basses, a luthier based in Colorado. They also repair guitars. All Xylem custom bass guitars and guitars are fully tailored to your musical tastes and preferences. Xylem luthier Anthony Olinger will help you design and develop the perfect instrument for you by combining his expertise and experience with your idea of the perfect bass or guitar. The result will be a one of a kind instrument that fits you better than any other.

Ruokangas Guitars was founded in 1995 by luthier Juha Ruokangas. From repairing guitars to studying lutherie under guidance of the finest Finnish luthiers after which he founded the company, building guitars in his 35 square meter workshop. Today Juha and his skillful team of luthiers make unique guitars in their beautiful old Harviala Manor surroundings in Finland.  Please read our the quick interview with Juha!

I have been following these guys for a while now. Building custom guitars in the UK. Why I follow them is because they make such nice and innovative guitars focussing on the wood and its natural beauty. They also make luthier tools, have an active workshop diary and have created a luthiers guild. These guys are well worth checking out.
